BC Nurses' Union (BCNU) is the dedicated representative of over 48,000 professional nurses and allied healthcare workers across hospitals, long-term care facilities, and communities. Since our inception in February 1981, BCNU has been a trailblazer in the nursing profession, securing significant victories such as a 22% wage increase and wage parity for long-term care nurses during the 1980s. With a focus on inclusivity, we offer various support networks like the Indigenous Leadership Circle, Men in Nursing, and LGBTQ Caucus.
