## Description

BCTracker is a valuable resource for transit enthusiasts and commuters in British Columbia, providing a comprehensive platform for browsing bus schedules and tracking real-time information across various transit systems. Launched in 2020, BCTracker caters to numerous communities, including those in Vancouver Island, Fraser Valley, and Northern BC, and features data from transit agencies like BC Transit and GERTIE.

The platform presents an easy-to-navigate interface for users to access information on routes, stops, and historical bus data, enhancing the commuting experience throughout the province. With a foundation in the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS), BCTracker aims to bridge the gap in transit information, especially for areas lacking dedicated resources.

Founded by a team of passionate software developers from Vancouver, BCTracker continues to evolve, with updates that enhance its functionality. Although a mobile app is not currently planned, users can conveniently access the site via mobile browsers. For inquiries or suggestions, users are encouraged to reach out via email or join the BCTracker Discord community.
