# bdcconline.net - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `bdcconline.net` ## Description The Biographical Dictionary of Chinese Christianity (BDCC) is a pioneering project dedicated to recording the life stories of influential figures within Chinese Christianity, which has existed in various forms since at least 635 A.D. Founded in 2005 by a group of scholars, the BDCC aims to fill the gap in understanding about the many lesser-known Christian leaders and laypersons who have shaped the faith throughout China and beyond. With a focus on the modern era (1800 to 1950), the BDCC's comprehensive electronic database features biographical information on both Chinese and foreign missionaries, church leaders, and evangelists who have contributed to the growth of Chinese Christian communities. Collaborating with academics and church communities globally, the BDCC seeks to engage local researchers and encourage the documentation of personal stories and experiences. This vibrant initiative is supported by the Global China Center and aspires to illuminate and celebrate the rich tapestry of Chinese Christian heritage through scholarly rigor and engaging narratives. ## Industries - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Dictionaries and Encyclopedias _(under Reference Materials)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idSya2Ni1o/w/932/h/928/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1780718453392) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Guardsman Red | #cc0000 | accent | | Tundora | #404040 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ - freight-sans-pro — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
