About
Description
Beacon of Hope Crisis Center is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to empowering victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our mission is to provide safety, education, and support to help individuals become self-sufficient. We envision a world where everyone can live free from the grip of domestic violence and sexual assault.
At Beacon of Hope, we serve ALL individuals facing domestic violence and sexual assault crises, regardless of religion, race, color, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, language capacity, or ability. We offer a range of services and programs to support victims. Our crisis call intervention provides immediate assistance, while our criminal justice program helps with protective orders.
We also offer advocacy for domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as an economic sustainability program and a foster pet program. Additionally, our prevention empowerment programs, such as the Purple Sneakers Program, aim to create awareness and prevent future violence. With our rebranded logo, incorporating the lotus flower, we symbolize strength, healing, and promise.
The colors we have chosen—purple for domestic violence, teal for sexual assault violence, and orange for teen dating violence—represent major focuses within our services. Since our establishment in 2007, we have grown and expanded our reach. We have recently improved access to our services through innovative endeavors, including an enhanced intake process and an accessibility toolbar on our website.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely on the support of volunteers and donations to sustain our operations and continue making a difference in our community. Your financial contributions are essential to help us serve the 1,430 victims of crime we assisted last year. We value transparency and are committed to demonstrating the impact of your support.
Join us in our mission to provide safety, kindness, and love to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. Donate today and be a part of the Beacon of Hope Crisis Center's vital work in our community
