## Description

Beanies on Brains, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded by traumatic brain injury survivor Bob Tipton and his wife, Katie. Inspired by Bob’s recovery after a serious workplace accident in 2010, the organization aims to promote brain injury awareness and education while encouraging hope for survivors and their families. Its message is grounded in Bob’s belief that a TBI can mark a new beginning rather than the end of a meaningful life.

The beanie has special significance to the organization: Bob wore one during his rehabilitation to stay warm and feel more comfortable. Today, the beanie symbolizes strength, hope, and the tools needed to face recovery. Through its online shop, Beanies on Brains offers merchandise centered on this message and uses its products to help raise awareness. The organization also hosts special events and shares information and stories through its website, including Bob’s account of injury and recovery. Visitors can explore its gallery, learn about the nonprofit, and make donations to support its work.
