## Description

Bearsden Golf Club is a friendly, welcoming golf club in Bearsden, Glasgow, founded in 1891. Located about five miles from Glasgow city centre, it offers members and visitors the chance to enjoy golf close to the countryside. The club provides a challenging course intended to suit golfers of all abilities, alongside opportunities to join, book a round and find course information, including green fees, a scorecard and a course flyover.

Bearsden is investing in a larger, redesigned course, with the ambition of creating one of the UK’s finest nine-hole courses. The provisional plan, designed by Graeme Webster of Niblick Design, describes a 6,100-yard layout played over two rounds of nine holes. The website states that the new course was scheduled to open in 2025.

Beyond golf, the club offers clubhouse facilities, including a lounge and bar, catering and social events. Its community includes gents, ladies and junior sections, and the club is home to professional golfer Ewen Ferguson, a two-time DP World Tour winner.
