Beatitude House, a nonprofit corporation sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, has been empowering women and children for over 30 years. Committed to serving disadvantaged women and children, Beatitude House creates homes, provides educational opportunities, and fosters healthy families to help transform lives. Inspired by the film God Bless the Child, Ursuline Sister Margaret Scheetz founded Beatitude House with a belief that education is the best way out of poverty.

The organization offers a range of services, including transitional and permanent supportive housing, an immigrant outreach program that provides English language services, and the Ursuline Sisters Scholars program. Since its inception in 1988, Beatitude House has expanded its services to address the growing needs of the community. Through the generosity of the community, Beatitude House continues to build lives of stability and hope for women and children, just as Sister Margaret dreamed.
