## Description

Beat the City is an Austrian obstacle-running event series that turns urban sightseeing into an energetic challenge. Events take place in Linz, Graz, Innsbruck and Vienna, where participants run through city streets and tackle obstacles such as steep stairs, muddy containers and water slides. Runners can choose a 5-kilometre course with more than 10 obstacles or a 10-kilometre course with more than 20. Junior events offer children a shorter course of over 2 kilometres with at least 10 obstacles, while the Family Run introduces children aged four to seven to the experience alongside a parent.

The series supports individual participants and teams, with automatic discounts for groups of four or more and additional benefits for larger teams. A multi-city offer rewards people who enter more than one event, and participants can pursue the Beat the City series ranking by completing all four city races. An Ultra-Athlon option is also available for especially ambitious runners.
