## Description

Béb’éveil is a network of six micro-crèches on Réunion Island, established in 2013 to provide a welcoming, reliable childcare option for local families. Four centres are in Saint-André and two in Saint-Denis. The crèches care for children aged 10 weeks to four years in small, secure settings designed to support each child’s wellbeing and development.

Béb’éveil offers personalised care that respects children’s individual needs, emotions and pace. Qualified early-childhood professionals encourage discovery, independence and social skills through playful and educational activities, as well as everyday routines. The approach combines individual attention with group experiences, helping children develop skills for starting school. Parents are treated as partners and invited to take part in activities and events, with trust and communication at the heart of the relationship.

The organisation also helps families understand childcare funding options, including relevant CAF assistance. To ease the transition into care, Béb’éveil advances the first month’s childcare fees while families await their support.
