## Description

The Beckley Foundation is a UK-based charity dedicated to advancing research and informed discussion on psychedelics, drug policy and their effects on society. Founded and directed by Amanda Feilding, the organisation has played a longstanding role in the development of psychedelic research and the broader psychedelic renaissance. Its scientific work includes neuroimaging research into LSD and mystical states, alongside collaborations with universities and research institutions. The Foundation explores substances and methods including LSD, psilocybin, cannabis, ayahuasca and MDMA, and highlights potential clinical applications in areas such as depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD and cancer. Its policy programme includes advocacy, advisory work, reports and initiatives such as the Global Initiative for Drug Policy Reform and the Global Cannabis Commission. Through publications, briefings, seminars, videos, podcasts and public talks, the Foundation shares research and perspectives with wider audiences. It is based at Beckley Park in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, and states that its work relies entirely on donations.
