## Description

Bedford Minor Hockey Association (BDMHA) is a community hockey organization serving players across Bedford and the surrounding district. It offers programs for a wide range of ages and skill levels, from U7 and U9 through U11, U13, U15, U18, and Minor Junior. Teams compete in multiple divisions, including developmental, recreational, and competitive tiers, with schedules, results, statistics, news, and tournament information available through its website.

Player growth is central to BDMHA’s work. For the 2026–27 season, its development framework focuses on player skills and confidence, specialized goaltender training, and support for volunteer coaches. Technical directors provide development sessions, mentorship, practice resources, and guidance across divisions. The association also coordinates evaluations and tryouts, coach applications and certifications, team management resources, and safety policies. Families can find registration information, fees, financial aid details, and a “Jump Into Hockey” program, while community resources include awards, apparel, a 50/50 program, and feedback channels. Bedford Minor Hockey Association relies on volunteers to help deliver its programs and create positive learning environments for players.
