## Description

John Behee’s author website introduces the historian and former football coach, with a particular focus on his writing about University of Michigan football and legendary coach Fielding H. Yost. Behee brings ten years of football coaching experience, including two years as a graduate assistant at Michigan in 1964 and 1965, together with a master’s degree in American history and a PhD. His first major work on Yost, Fielding Yost’s Legacy, was published in 1971, following his doctoral research. The site highlights his second book on the coach, Coach Yost: Michigan’s Tradition Maker, which explores Yost’s football knowledge, motivational abilities, leadership, and role in shaping Michigan’s tradition of excellence. The book also covers stories from early Michigan football and the university’s departure from and return to the Big Ten. Readers can find endorsements from authors, historians, and University of Michigan representatives, learn more about Behee through the About section, and contact him through the site. An ebook edition of Coach Yost is available through Amazon.
