## Description

Beit Horim, also known as Pisgot Carmel, is a long-established organization of immigrants from Central Europe that operates senior living residences in Haifa. Its homes include Pisgat Mapu, Pisgat Bialik, Pisgat Hen, Pisgat Ahuza and Pisgat HaTishbi. The organization emphasizes high standards of service for residents and their families, alongside reliability, respect, safety and a sense of belonging. It also highlights staff wellbeing, continuous learning and innovation as it responds to changing demographic needs.

In addition to residential senior living, Beit Horim offers services that bring assisted-living support to people in their own homes, allowing them to remain at home while receiving help from the organization. Its community brings together long-standing members, descendants of the founders and newer participants. Through social and cultural activities, volunteering opportunities and ways to contribute, the organization seeks to preserve the heritage and values of its Central European founders while developing a community suited to contemporary Israeli life. Beit Horim also works to strengthen its connections with the communities in which it operates.
