## Description

Beleco is a Czech nature conservation organization that has worked to protect nature since 2004. Based in Prague, it brings together an interdisciplinary team of experts and takes a professional, responsible and independent approach to its work. The organization connects science, research and practical conservation, while working with different stakeholder groups to align their activities with the needs of nature.

Beleco’s services include preparing studies, research projects and assessments, as well as designing and carrying out management measures for natural sites. It also provides education for both specialists and the wider public, and communicates and promotes expert topics related to conservation. Its work reflects a vision of a living, diverse landscape that supports people while retaining its natural richness and beauty. This includes varied habitats such as open woodland, meadows, pastures, ponds and rivers, with room for natural processes and carefully integrated modern development. Through its projects and outreach, Beleco aims to contribute to a landscape that is both ecologically valuable and beneficial to people.
