# Beleefweekend - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `beleefweekend.nl` ## Description Beleefweekend Heuvelland is a community event celebrating stillness, mindfulness, nature, local experiences and culture across the Cittaslow municipalities of Vaals, Gulpen-Wittem and Eijsden-Margraten. Its 16th edition is scheduled for 23–25 October 2026, coinciding with the transition to winter time, the national Night of the Night and the national Day of Silence. The programme invites people of all ages to pause, explore and experience the region through more than 100 small-scale activities. Visitors can choose from nature walks, forest bathing, meditation, yoga, workshops, massages, retreats and experiences focused on silence and mindfulness. Other offerings include an ice-bath introduction, creative activities, music, local tastings, a candlelit dinner, heritage walks and visits to special places of quiet. The event also welcomes activity organisers, who can submit their contributions free of charge.
