## Description

Belharra Surf Club is a community sports association based in Ciboure, at the foot of Fort de Socoa on France’s Basque coast. Founded in 2007, the club brings together more than 100 members who share a passion for surfing, from first experiences to advanced practice, in recreational and competitive settings. It welcomes adults, teenagers and children, and encourages women and men to enjoy sport collectively in a friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere. Members can surf at spots along the coast from Hendaye to Bidart, and the club also offers surf lessons and longe-côte, or coastal walking, activities. Beyond sporting instruction, Belharra Surf Club promotes respect for others and the natural environment, helping young people build connections and engage with positive values through sport. Its environmental awareness work includes information and outreach, as well as beach-protection and cleanup events organised in partnership with the town of Ciboure. The club is supported by a qualified, experienced team whose members are passionate about surfing and committed to human values.
