This unique event brings the award-winning book by Chris Van Allsburg to life, allowing guests to embark on a magical trip to the North Pole. Complete with treats, gifts, and an enchanting walk to the North Pole Theater, the event immerses visitors in the story and even includes a visit from Santa Claus himself. Since its inception, Believe in Books Literacy Foundation has not only hosted this beloved event but has also given back to the community through donations to literacy programs and initiatives.

To date, they have gifted over $2. 5 million to support literacy programs, scholarships, grants, and book distributions in New Hampshire and Western Maine. In addition to the Journey to the North Pole™, Believe in Books Literacy Foundation offers various outreach programs like Where Can a Book Take You?, Books from Birth, and the Book Bag Program.

These initiatives aim to reach families and children throughout Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine, providing them with access to quality children's books and fostering a love of reading. They also maintain the 100-Acre Wood, a property in Intervale, NH, which houses the 300-seat Theater in the Wood, the Trails in the Wood trail system, the Sugar Shack maple sugar house, and their administrative office.
