## Description

Be Like The Willow is an Ohio-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to offering comfort through acts of kindness, providing resources for people experiencing grief, and supporting charitable organizations with similar goals. Inspired by the image of a willow tree bending without breaking through life’s storms, the organization encourages resilience, compassion, and practical support for families and communities.

Its annual Be Like The Willow Movement invites people to take part in kindness activities, including those featured in an October calendar. The organization also offers printable downloads, kindness kits for adults and children, and items through its online store. Its website features a Kindness Book Nook Tour, a blog, and information about its story, partners, and supporters.

A key part of its charitable work is arranging CuddleCot placements at hospitals and care facilities. These specialized cots support families following the loss of a baby, allowing more time with their child. Be Like The Willow also shares grief-related resources and opportunities to join the movement, connect with supporters, and contribute through donations.
