## Description

Bellahouston Harriers is a Glasgow-based athletics club founded in 1892, with a long history of success in District and National competitions and occasional Olympians among its members. The club welcomes runners of all abilities, from those who compete to people who run for enjoyment and fitness. Its teams take part in many Scottish road races and cross-country events throughout the season, while club activities also include training sessions, events and championships.

Members can train with the club’s coaches and enjoy a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Sessions are held on Tuesdays at 6:30pm at Hutchesons’ at Pollok Park and on Thursdays at 6:50pm on the track at Hutchesons’ Grammar School. The club also organises events including the Brian Goodwin 10K, 2 Mile time trials and the John McGough Mile, and shares race reports and news with members.

Based at Pollok Country Park, Bellahouston Harriers uses TeamApp to coordinate training, events and club updates. New members are encouraged to attend a session and see if the club suits them.
