As the first aluminium smelter in the southern hemisphere, we have been a pioneer in the industry since our establishment in 1955. Located in Northern Tasmania, our primary aluminium production site is strategically positioned at the mouth of the kanamaluka / Tamar River. With nearly 500 dedicated employees, we operate 24/7 to produce approximately 190,000 tonnes of aluminium per year. Our high-quality metal is exported worldwide, finding its use in transport, construction, packaging, and electrical industries.
