## Description

Bellinger Landcare Inc is a non-profit association that serves as an umbrella organization for landcare in Bellingen Shire and beyond. They represent landcarers in the Bellinger-Dorrigo region and provide advice on environmental restoration processes and legal matters. Bellinger Landcare liaises between landcarers, government, and technical experts to facilitate on-ground projects and conservation works. Their services also include school and adult education in environmental issues and best practice management. They assist landholders in securing funding for on-ground environmental projects and raise awareness in the community about environmental issues and sustainable agriculture. The organization consists of landcare groups and individual landcarers, with management handled by a dedicated committee of elected volunteers. Their funding comes from the Bellingen Shire Council Environmental Levy and the Australian Government National Landcare Program, with support from their regional network and Landcare NSW. Bellinger Landcare Inc is committed to improving landcare farming systems and developing practices that promote profitability while meeting community expectations for natural resource management. They are actively involved in weed control and revegetation activities, working together with farmers and land managers to care for the land and its resources.
