## Description

Established in 1955, Belmont Baseball Club is a family-oriented sporting club based in Belmont, on the shores of Lake Macquarie. The club plays at Miller Field and Lumsdon Field, offering baseball opportunities for players from their first experience in tee-ball through to senior and Masters competition. Belmont welcomes boys and girls of different ages and abilities, with junior and senior teams, preseason training, online registration, and free “Come and Try” sessions where participants can learn about the game and use club-provided equipment.

The club aims to foster sporting and personal development in a fun, supportive environment, guided by codes of conduct for members on and off the field. It gives equal importance to junior development and senior team performance. Belmont has a long record of competition success, including 49 Senior Club Championships, 39 First Grade major premierships, 23 Junior Club Championships, and 35 major junior premierships. The club has also supported players representing teams from Newcastle through to Australian level.
