## Description

BEP, the Bureau of Engraving & Printing, is an official government agency of the United States. The BEP's main objective is to develop and manufacture secure and trusted currency notes for the United States. With a vision to set the global standard for banknotes and document security, the BEP is dedicated to excellence in manufacturing and innovation. While the BEP does not produce coins, it prints billions of dollars' worth of Federal Reserve notes annually, which are delivered to the Federal Reserve System, the nation's central bank. Strictly focused on currency production, the BEP advises other federal agencies on document security matters. Through robust research and development efforts, the BEP continuously works on developing advanced security features and efficient production processes to combat counterfeiting. By incorporating overt and covert security features, the BEP ensures that the circulation of counterfeit currency remains minimal. Overall, the BEP plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of the United States currency system.
