## Description

BEPPU PROJECT is an art NPO based in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, known as one of the world's leading hot spring destinations. Since its inception in April 2005, the organization has been committed to creating a vibrant community by harnessing the potential of art. With a manifesto to host an international art festival, BEPPU PROJECT engages in various initiatives, including introducing and promoting contemporary art, educational outreach, talent development courses, publishing projects, and a platform production project that renovates vacant storefronts in the city center. BEPPU PROJECT believes that art serves as a medium to stimulate our perception and inspire creativity, encouraging us to view and think about things in different ways. By leveraging the power of art, they aim to universalize the potential of creativity and contribute to the development of an appealing region.
