## Description

Bewust & Wijs is a children’s yoga and wellbeing practice in Zwolle, founded by Berdien Stokking. Drawing on her experience in education and as a pedagogical professional, Berdien creates a welcoming, pressure-free space where children can move, rest and explore at their own pace. Through playful yoga, stories and relaxation, children are encouraged to listen to their bodies, develop awareness and find moments of calm amid everyday stimulation.

The practice offers small-group children’s yoga classes, individual yoga coaching and parent-and-child sessions that give families time to move and unwind together. Bewust & Wijs also provides workshops for schools, childcare providers and organisations working in wellbeing. Each activity balances movement with relaxation and takes account of children’s individual needs.

Connection is central to Berdien’s approach, whether she is helping children play and discover, supporting their wellbeing, or creating opportunities for parents and children to share mindful time. Bewust & Wijs also shares updates and inspiration through its newsletter and blog.
