Beringer, a pioneer in the Napa wine industry for over a century, is known for its rich history and commitment to quality. Since 1868, the brand has been making waves in the wine world, establishing numerous 'firsts' along the way. Beringer was among the first to utilize gravity-fed facilities and hand-dug caves and cellars.

In 1934, they began offering public tours, a tradition that has become synonymous with Napa Valley hospitality. Beringer is the only winery to have both a red and a white wine named #1 Wine of the Year by Wine Spectator Magazine. The brand's passion for winemaking spans 145 years, dating back to the arrival of Jacob Beringer from Germany in 1868.

Together with his brother Frederick, they purchased 215 acres in St. Helena, which became the heart of the Beringer estate. In 1876, the brothers oversaw their first harvest and crush, producing approximately 18,000 cases of wine.

In addition to its rich winemaking heritage, Beringer boasts stunning architecture, including the Rhine House and its beautiful stained glass windows. The winery was designated as a State Historic Landmark in 1967 and the Rhine House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
