## Description

Beri UMI is a Slovenian children’s book brand founded by Klara Novak, created to nurture curiosity and a love of learning through engaging stories. Its books introduce young readers to real people, significant ideas, and inspiring moments in history, presenting them in an accessible, playful way. The stories combine hand-drawn illustrations with interactive questions, challenges, and creative activities that encourage children to think, explore, and imagine. The illustrations are created by artist Branka K. Mlinarič using traditional drawing tools, giving the books a warm, personal feel.

The collection includes Peró pripoveduje – Zgodba o Francetu, which introduces children to France Prešeren and the story behind Slovenia’s national anthem. Beri UMI describes its titles as adventures that help children dream, discover, and believe in the power of knowledge. Books can be ordered through the brand’s online shop and are also available in bookshops across Slovenia. The website provides customer contact information and invites visitors to subscribe to its newsletter for updates about new books, characters, and events, with a first-order discount offered to subscribers.
