## Description

Berman Contemporary is a Cape Town-based art gallery in the Silo District of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The gallery champions women artists through a curated programme that includes exhibitions, publications, offsite projects and participation in international art fairs. Its work brings artists and audiences together through solo exhibitions, opening events and other art-related activities, while its website shares exhibition calendars and artist news. The gallery also offers venue hire.

A featured programme is After the Tide, a solo exhibition by Thirza Schaap, scheduled from 1 August to 28 November 2026, with an opening event listed for 29 August. Berman Contemporary is also associated with the Cape Town Photography Festival, scheduled for 3 to 26 September 2026.

Visitors can view the gallery Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:30 and Saturday from 9:00 to 14:30. Visits on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays are available by appointment. The gallery can be contacted by phone or email for enquiries and appointments.
