## Description

The Bermuda Standard is an innovative framework for smart and self-executing contracts, designed to facilitate operations across sectors such as IoT, legal, and supply chain management. Serving as a globally applicable collection of standards, it emphasizes the importance of identity verification, leveraging a unique digital identity system known as HubID. This self-sovereign identity enables individuals and organizations to manage their data privacy while simplifying licensing approvals in the digital asset marketplace.

Additionally, the Bermuda Standard offers a variety of services, including AGREE, a digital contract platform that streamlines deal-making among members, and the Open Audit Initiative, which provides real-time auditing solutions. Another notable component is the Bermuda Climate Data Engine (BCDE), supplying open-source climate data to support global environmental initiatives. Overall, the Bermuda Standard reflects a commitment to enhancing transparency, collaboration, and efficiency in the evolving digital economy, making it a vital resource for modern businesses and communities.
