## Description

Galerie Kornfeld is a contemporary art gallery in Bern, Switzerland, operating as part of Kornfeld, an established company with a history of more than 160 years. The gallery’s story continues following the takeover of Galerie Bernhard Bischoff & Partner, which had been active for almost 24 years. Many of the gallery’s relationships with artists are being maintained and developed on a broader scale, with the aim of continuing to present contemporary art to audiences in Bern.

Based at Laupenstrasse 41, Galerie Kornfeld offers visitors access to current exhibitions and an archive of past shows, alongside information about artists, the gallery’s history, staff and location. The website also lists consulting and art fairs among its areas of interest. Visitors are welcome at the gallery during weekday opening hours and on Saturday mornings, or by appointment. The gallery can be contacted by telephone or email for enquiries. Its move from PROGR on Waisenhausplatz brings this continuing programme under the Kornfeld name at a new Bern address.
