## Description

Bethany Maines is an author of romantic action-adventure, mystery, and fantasy fiction, featuring resourceful heroines who pursue truth and love while confronting danger. Her books blend humor, suspense, romance, and imaginative plots, ranging from contemporary capers to speculative stories. Readers can explore several connected series and stand-alone novels, including the Carrie Mae Mysteries, San Juan Island Mysteries, The Deveraux Legacy, The Valkyrie Brothers, and The Three Colors Trilogy and related Supernaturals titles.

Her stories follow make-up professionals who tackle crime, a former actress teaming up with her ex-CIA grandfather to solve island mysteries, and a powerful family facing political intrigue and mercenaries. The Valkyrie Brothers series combines romantic mystery and comedy, while the Supernaturals books bring fairy-tale creatures and supernatural destinies into modern settings. Maines also writes paranormal romance as Sirena Corbeau, with novels set in a shared universe and designed to be read as stand-alones. Her website provides information about books, reviews, press, book trailers, and a blog, as well as details on a fiction seminar, screenplays, and a free e-book.
