Bethesda Friends Meeting is a vibrant community of Quakers located in Bethesda, Maryland. We gather every Sunday morning for an hour of worship, with most people attending the 11:00 am Meeting for Worship. Our Meeting is inclusive and welcoming, offering child care services as well as religious education programs for children and youth in grades K-8.

Additionally, we provide adult spiritual programs that delve into various aspects of Quakerism. With a rich history of advocating for positive change, Bethesda Friends Meeting has been at the forefront of promoting equal rights and respect for all. We strongly believe in social justice and environmental sustainability, actively engaging in activities to make a difference in our community and the world.

Our Meetinghouse, located on the campus of Sidwell Friends Lower School, is wheelchair accessible and equipped with a hearing assistance system. We also have parking available and are conveniently located just three blocks from the Bethesda Metro station.
