## Description

Bevallen met Elsa is a doula and childbirth education practice based in Deventer, founded by Elsa, who has supported women since 2021. Elsa offers calm, knowledgeable and attentive guidance through pregnancy, birth and the first weeks afterward. Her support is available to women and couples with different needs and birth plans, including solo mothers, people planning a vaginal birth after caesarean, and those seeking a more positive experience after a difficult previous birth. The practice’s services include continuous doula support during pregnancy and labour, as well as private courses at clients’ homes to help expectant parents feel informed, prepared and confident. Elsa first meets with prospective clients to understand their needs and see whether they are a good fit. Additional birth-related offerings include a birth pool, a mother blessing and placenta prints as keepsakes. Her approach combines practical preparation with personal, non-judgmental support, helping clients understand their options and feel empowered throughout the birth journey.
