## Description

Bevrijdingsfestival Den Haag is a public festival in The Hague that celebrates freedom on 5 May. The event takes place at the Malieveld and the Provinciehuis and invites visitors to mark the occasion together. Its programme features performances by artists, with a timetable and festival map available to help guests plan their visit. The festival also connects with the Haagse Vrijheidsweken, extending its focus on freedom beyond the main event.

Alongside the music programme, visitors can explore the Plein van de Vrijheid and Markt, find food and drinks, and take part in activities for children. The festival’s offerings also include the HI The Hague Student Experience, a helicopter and the liberation flame. Practical information covers locations, transport and access, house rules, and hearing protection. The organisation shares festival news and information through its website and social media, and welcomes enquiries from prospective partners, sponsors and advertisers. With its combination of performances, activities and visitor services, Bevrijdingsfestival Den Haag brings people together to celebrate freedom in the city.
