Beyond the Sea®'s mission is to decarbonize maritime transport through the automated SeaKite kite traction system. Our company offers LibertyKite® for recreational boats and SeaKite for intelligent traction in commercial shipping. These kites harness wind power to reduce a ship's energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, while also enhancing safety. LibertyKite® is designed for pleasure boating, artisanal fishing, and offshore racing, prioritizing safety and enjoyment. On the other hand, SeaKite is a fully automated system for smart ship traction suitable for various vessels, from luxury yachts to commercial ships. Its application results in an average daily fuel consumption reduction of 20% and decreases in greenhouse gas emissions. Our groundbreaking SeaKite demonstrator, a revolutionary autonomous, zero-emission catamaran, serves as a platform for experimentation and is equipped with a SeaKite® system capable of towing kites ranging from 50 to 200 m2. Founded by sailor and engineer Yves Parlier, Beyond the Sea is dedicated to offering innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions for all marine vessels, supported by a global citizen movement.
