## Description

Beyond Sport is a global foundation that promotes, supports, and celebrates the use of sport to address social issues in communities around the world. Through their global events, awards schemes, and year-round online network, they provide opportunities for learning and new ways of thinking to stimulate action in areas of critical importance for humanity. Beyond Sport believes that sport, when used with intention, can provide innovative and effective solutions to the most complex issues of our time. It is a powerful and unique tool that can bridge divides and foster a more inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous society. They work with expert, on-the-ground sport-for-development organizations and progressive brands to increase sport's role in social change globally. Beyond Sport has successfully engaged professional sport teams and leagues, corporate brand leaders, policy makers, funders, and governing bodies to join forces for greater social impact. As a registered charity in the UK and a nonprofit organization in the US, Beyond Sport supports initiatives, generates ideas, and builds partnerships that purposefully use sport and physical activity to create a better world.
