## Description

BeZero Carbon is an independent carbon credit ratings agency focused on the voluntary carbon market. It helps investors and other market participants assess the quality and risks of carbon projects, supporting more informed investment and stronger climate claims. Its ratings cover projects of different types, at every stage of development and across global markets.

BeZero combines expert analysis with curated datasets, proprietary models, verified project documents and engagement with developers. Its assessments examine risks including additionality, carbon accounting and non-permanence, and are reviewed by scientists and analysts. Ratings are continuously monitored, while headline ratings, summaries, methodologies and sector frameworks are publicly available. The company states that it does not trade or develop carbon projects, refer buyers and sellers, provide MRV consulting, or offer privileged rating access.

Its products include a ratings platform, risk analytics, a pre-rating Scorecard for assessing unrated projects, and tools for building and comparing risk-adjusted carbon credit portfolios. BeZero also provides market insights, policy analysis, resources and testimonials, alongside information about its rating approach and services.
