## Description

Badger Robotics, officially known as FIRST Team 2130 Alpha+, is an innovative robotics team based at Bonners Ferry High School in Northern Idaho, established in 2007 by Edward Katz. With a dedicated team of 12 students and 10 mentors, Badger Robotics aims to inspire interest in science and technology while promoting the values of teamwork and Gracious Professionalism. The team competes in various robotics events, developing a wide array of robots each year, such as Blair, Swolenoid, and Phoenix, showcasing their creativity and technical skills.

Embedded in a small community with roots in agriculture and logging, Badger Robotics enriches local culture with its focus on technology. The team collaborates closely with local businesses for sponsorship while also receiving support from well-known corporations like Autodesk and The Boeing Company. In addition to competing, they engage in service projects and outreach programs, including the Summer Robotics Camp, aimed at promoting STEM education among younger students. Through their efforts, Badger Robotics exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and innovation in a rural setting.
