Welcome to Buskerud County Council. Here, you will find information about our services, policies, and the organization and establishments of the county council. Buskerud County Council is currently building its new website. The election for the new county council will take place on September 11, 2023. The county council's political activities will commence on October 19. Administrative leadership for the new Buskerud County Council is being established. Starting from January 1, 2024, the Viken County Council will be divided, and three new county councils will be established: Akershus, Buskerud, and Østfold. Until the end of this year, you will only find information regarding the election and the new county council on the website. Complete websites will be available by January 1, 2024. Information about the county council's services can still be found on viken.no throughout 2023. Updates on the establishment of the new county councils can be found on viken.no. Stay tuned!.
