With a mission to combat tooth decay as a public health concern, the society works tirelessly to secure the optimum fluoride content of water supplies, aiming for one part per million. Through their activities, they provide scientifically-based information about water fluoridation to health bodies, local authorities, educational establishments, professional organizations, the media, politicians, and the general public. They organize scientific meetings, conduct research, and produce publications to promote oral health and extend water fluoridation. The British Fluoridation Society also plays an active role in supporting the fluoridation activity of the Departments of Health, local authorities, and NHS bodies throughout the UK. With notable achievements like a 59% reduction in hospital admissions for children's dental extractions in fluoridated areas, they have proven the effectiveness of their work. By continuing to strive for improved dental health and making significant contributions to the field, the British Fluoridation Society is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of the population. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Public Health and Safety _(under Health)_ - ⛑ Dentist and Dental Services _(under Health)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/britishfluorid1) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/britishfluoridationsociety) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGefEMt50/w/1074/h/816/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1761563870615) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGefEMt50/w/320/h/320/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1761563870679) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Sapphire | #2e52a2 | accent | | Chathams Blue | #104382 | dark | | Chetwode Blue | #7c93dd | light | ## Fonts - sofia-pro — asset _(custom)_ - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
