Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County (BGCMC) has been impacting the lives of children and teens in Manatee County since 1946. As an afterschool and summer program, BGCMC offers hope and opportunity to every child in the community, especially those who need it most. They provide a safe place for children to learn and grow, offering life-enhancing programs and character-building experiences.

With 6 club locations and over 1,500 youth reached annually, BGCMC ensures that children have access to a range of programs in three core areas: academic success, good character & leadership, and healthy lifestyles. Their dedicated staff and board members are committed to their mission of enabling young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. BGCMC has a strong history, with a gymnasium being added to the Bradenton Boys Club in 1951, supported by the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton.
