## Description

Botanical Garden of the Ozarks (BGO) is a unique and captivating brand that stands out from the rest. Unlike other botanical gardens, BGO started as a grassroots effort, built by a community of passionate individuals with limited resources. This approach has resulted in a garden that is not only approachable but also exudes a whimsical charm, reflecting the character of the surrounding area and its people. Established in 1993, BGO was created through the tireless work of volunteers, who fundraised and leased land from the City of Fayetteville to make their vision a reality. With the aim of educating locals about gardening in the challenging environment of Northwest Arkansas, BGO features a circle of twelve themed backyard gardens, along with the Totemeier Horticulture Center and the state's only Butterfly House. These structures provide an educational and interactive experience for visitors. In addition to regular events and classes, BGO offers its picturesque facility and gardens for special occasions such as weddings, birthday parties, memorial services, and corporate meetings. With over 70,000 annual visitors, BGO has earned a reputation as one of the top wedding destinations in Northwest Arkansas. Experience the beauty and charm of Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, where nature and community come together in perfect harmony.
