The Union of Urbanists in Bulgaria (СУБ) was established in 2010 with the aim of becoming a professional community and platform for ideas and initiatives for the development of our surrounding environment. СУБ works towards uniting specialists and organizations in a network for exchanging experiences and seeking solutions to planning, urban environment, and professional development issues. Their mission includes promoting and implementing the best modern practices and approaches to contribute to building a better living environment centered around people and local communities. СУБ offers specialized information and various initiatives related to the broad field of urbanism, organizing open lectures, idea workshops, competitions, conferences, and professional meetings. As a co-organizer of World Urbanism Day, which is traditionally celebrated on November 8 in Bulgaria, СУБ is committed to fostering knowledge and collaboration in urban planning and development.
