# University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `bhcharity.org` ## Description UHD NHS Charity, formally known as the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust Charity, serves as the official charity supporting the Royal Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch hospitals. Dedicated to enhancing patient care, UHD Charity collaborates closely with hospital staff to provide essential resources beyond the standard NHS offerings. This includes funding vital items for dementia patients, developing serene green spaces for staff, and supporting various projects such as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and maternity services. The charity engages the community through numerous fundraising activities, from adrenaline-pumping challenges like the 10k Steps Challenge and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, to themed appeals like The BEACH Appeal. UHD Charity invites everyone to contribute, with donation options ranging from £10 to £100 to support a variety of needs, including bereavement support and wellness sessions for staff. By donating, participating in events, or volunteering, you can help bring positivity and enhanced care to patients in Dorset. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/RBCHcharity) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/uhdcharity) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/uhd-charity) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/uhdcharity) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idjwRMlxvT/w/479/h/91/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1778699497831) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idjwRMlxvT/w/1079/h/1079/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1778699498119) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Congress Blue | #004696 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Picton Blue | #5fc2ed | light | ## Fonts - SourceSansPro-Bold — asset _(custom)_ - SourceSansPro-Regular — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
