## Description

The British Association for Holistic Medicine & Health Care (BHMA) is a membership charity that is dedicated to promoting compassionate and holistic approaches to healthcare. With a history dating back to April 1984, the BHMA is a frontrunner in advocating for holistic medicine and healthcare. But what exactly is holistic medicine and healthcare? Holism is an approach that takes into account the practitioner, patient, and the planet, known as the Three Ps. The BHMA aims to ensure that healthcare works for all three, focusing on the well-being and connection of individuals and the environment. The BHMA offers a range of resources and support to healthcare professionals. They provide a platform for colleagues to connect with one another, share resources, and stay updated with the latest insights and research in holistic healthcare through their Journal of Holistic Healthcare & Integrative Medicine. Additionally, they offer a holistic practitioner course to support the education and development of holistic practitioners. In a world facing increasing health and environmental challenges, the BHMA recognizes the need for a more holistic, personal, and compassionate approach to healthcare. By empowering individuals and fostering resilience and compassion, they believe we can navigate and adapt to these challenges together. Join the BHMA community today to become part of this transformative movement in healthcare.
