## Description

The Bhutan Esports Association (BESA) is the official governing body for esports in Bhutan and an official member of the Bhutan Olympic Committee. It works to grow competitive gaming responsibly across the country, develop young talent, and represent Bhutan on the international esports stage. Guided by its aim of inspiring youth and raising champions, BESA also promotes a vision of an ethically driven, globally recognized esports ecosystem.

BESA supports competitions and events across titles including PUBG Mobile, Tekken 8, Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Its flagship championship, BENC, offers a staged route from preliminaries and play-ins through the Pro-Series to the championship. Tekken 8 and chess players can qualify through a separate pathway called The Dojo. The association also shares event calendars, news, media, galleries, and downloadable resources. Through its programs and partnerships, BESA brings players together nationwide and encourages a path from gaming toward creating and building within the esports community.
