## Description

Bibliolibras is a pioneering bilingual library dedicated to promoting literacy in both Portuguese and Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) for children and youth. Established as an extension project from the Federal University of Goiás in 2012, it aims to make literature accessible to diverse audiences, including those who are deaf and blind. The library boasts an extensive collection of traditional tales, including recent releases based on the works of the Brothers Grimm and original stories by author Maria de Regino, presented in innovative audiovisual formats.

In addition to children's literature, Bibliolibras also hosts a range of academic texts, including video lectures and teaching materials from the university's programs in Libras studies. These resources are designed to support both educators and students. With support from cultural incentive laws, Bibliolibras continues to enrich its offerings, creating an inclusive space for storytelling where every child can engage with the joys of reading and learning through accessible and dynamic content.
