Biblionet Drenthe

Biblionet Drenthe is both the library organization for nine municipalities in Drenthe and the provincial support institution (POI) for the four Drenthe library organizations. As a provincial network organization, we collaborate with societal and cultural partners both within and outside the province. Within our organization, we fulfill the roles of a library and a POI.

As the provincial support institution, we work with all four library organizations in Drenthe, namely BIND, Facet, DNK, and Bibliotheek Hoogeveen. Our core tasks include connecting, innovating, inspiring, and providing support. We achieve this through collaboration with partners from various sectors.

In addition to our provincial responsibilities, we also carry out local library work and serve as the back office for the libraries of Biblionet in nine Drenthe municipalities: Aa en Hunze, Borger-Odoorn, Coevorden, De Wolden, Meppel, Midden-Drenthe, Noordenveld, Tynaarlo, and Westerveld.
