## Description

dLibra is a pioneering digital library system developed by the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS) since 1999. Designed to meet the needs of academic and public libraries across Poland, it allows institutions to efficiently share and access digital collections. dLibra has emerged as the most popular software of its kind in the country, facilitating the creation of a distributed platform for digital libraries through the PIONIER network.

The platform hosts an impressive collection of over 76,000 digital objects, including periodicals, official documents, artwork, academic works, and historical memorabilia. It also supports various types of multimedia content, such as audio recordings and virtual exhibitions, enriching the cultural landscape. In addition to providing an extensive repository of Polish heritage, PCSS offers training and technical support for libraries utilizing the dLibra system. With a strong commitment to cultural preservation and accessibility, dLibra continues to empower institutions in their quest to make knowledge widely available to the public.
