## Description

The British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) is a registered UK charity and the only professional infertility counselling association in the country recognised by the British Fertility Society. It supports the specialist counselling profession and helps people affected by infertility connect with qualified counsellors. Through its online directory, visitors can search for a counsellor by location and explore services such as online or telephone counselling, supervision, mentoring, and support in other languages or sign language.

BICA serves both the public and professionals working in fertility care. It provides information about infertility counselling and how to choose a counsellor, and explains its accreditation levels and standards. Membership is open to people with an interest in infertility and offers a range of benefits. The association also provides professional resources, policies, guidelines, referral materials, and templates, including resources for implications counselling. Its publications are available to purchase, with discounts for members.

BICA further supports learning through training courses, events, webinars, and podcasts for counsellors and UK clinic staff.
